Acolyte

Kodama, Seishu is a journalist tasked to visit and research the occult practices in a rural village named Satomachi. He learns of the ways of the religion and is greeted by someone from beyond. As he becomes the sole witness of the death of a shrine maiden, his quest directs him to question his reality. The forces beyond the natural world sends him looping through time to save the world from something beyond their own powers.
